Houseguests: Danielle Murphree, Shane Meaney
Danielle and Shane survived 11 weeks of friends, drama, and fights to make it to the end.
Judging from my popularity its pretty obvious that people aren't happy with Marcellas leaving. Sorry not sorry.
First off Danielle and Shane started the Jury Questioning with their opening statements.
Shane: When I joined this game, the main thing racing through my mind was “OK fingers crossed I can make it to jury!!!” I would have never guessed that I would be sitting here in the final two. Before I start, I’d like to thank Julie and the Housecalls for hosting an amazing game. I would also like to extend thanks to all the players, for making this game an incredible experience.
My main goal walking into the Big Brother house was to be very social. I wanted to talk to every single person in the game as much as possible. By having casual conversations about life, television shows, and who you were rooting for in Big Brother Canada, I was able to learn important things about each houseguest and was able to predict how they would play the game. I wanted to get comfortable with each player in the house and learn more about them so that I could use their characteristics to my advantage and plan accordingly. I wanted to identify all potential threats to my game and figure out the best time to take each one of them out.
Winning competitions wasn’t something I wanted to do unless I felt it necessary. Painting a target on my back is not something I wanted to do and winning too much in the beginning would have done just that. I wanted to do more background work in the beginning stages of the game, and then try and win out as much as possible in the final weeks. I am very proud of my 5 wins and felt that they all came at perfect timing. I am also very proud of the fact that I was able to go the entire game without being nominated or a have not. This proves that I was indeed able to keep my strong social connections alive throughout the game and stay out of danger.
I was in a handful of alliances in this game with a multitude of people. I knew that keeping in touch with all corners of the house would keep me well informed and safe. Even though I worked with many of you…there was only one person that I was going to remain loyal to.
On the first night, I met Danielle. We hit it off immediately and after a long conversation, we decided that we were going to watch each other’s backs. No matter who I got close or worked with, I was going to take her to the end no matter what. Even though I had formed strong connections with many of you, talking with Danielle everyday not only about the game but about life created an inseparable bond that I would never break. Every decision I have made was to get myself and Dani to the final two. One thing that shocked me about powerful duos in this game is how open they are about it. I believe that the best duos are the ones that remain undetected. I wanted to keep our relationship as secret as possible because I knew that if we were found out, then we would be targeted immediately. I was willing to do whatever was needed, whether it be lying, manipulating, or backstabbing to carry ourselves to the end.
If I offended you in this game then I am truly sorry. It was never my intention to hurt anyone’s feelings or insult them personally. I came here to play a game and I did what I thought was necessary to get myself and Danielle to the end, even if it meant getting my hands dirty. I have grown close to you all, and I hope that we can remain friends after this because you all mean a lot to me, regardless of what you might think. Much respect to you all and thanks for making this a wonderful experience and a game that I will truly cherish as my first ORG. Thank you
Danielle: Wow I am here, I really did not think I would make it, my first time playing this site & I had NO idea how to play, my plan was to be fake to everyone [may seem harsh] float with some power at first, not win many comps, when I didn't have to, go to the power to be safe each round, & it worked. I know some of you are bitter & feel I played you, but at the end of the day it's a game, I hope you can respect if I did play it dirty. But I was nice, I did not get mean or personal.
I did win the veto when I needed to win it, when I was on the block, so I feel I played the "right" game to get here. Yes Shane & I had a final two from the beginning, it's crazy to think we actually DID IT! I will answer any questions you have about him & I, honestly.

I wanna add in there, Shane may have had MORE strong friendships with you guys [kara,robert,roddy] which made it more difficult for me to stay in the game, when I knew if I was up against him, I was probably out, so I knew I had to fight harder in this game when it came to him & I, just saying, that's how I felt. I wasn't close to you guys, but I knew he was, cause he told me everything & we talked about everything. But yeah I would say I had it somewhat tougher.

Now it was the jurors time to speak.
Kara: Hey Danielle and Shane! Congrats on final two! Obviously, you both worked to get here so I applaud you both for that. Anyways, I really didn't have any questions in mind since my mind is pretty made up on who I'm voting for. So I'll just keep this simple.
Danielle We had a good relationship throughout most of the game. However, you turned your back on me and evicted me. I didn't even see why you did that because I wasn't coming for you in this game. Dumb move on your part. So the one burning question on my mind is: Why are you more deserving than Shane to win this game? I would love a long, reasonable answer for this question. Because I don't see any reasons to why I should voe for you to win.
Shane Hey buddy! Congrats on winning making final two! In jury, I found out that you had multiple final two deals with people including myself. So who was your #1 ally in this game and why Danielle your first choice to take to final two?
Shane: My closest allies and my dream final four consisted of Danielle, Roddy, and you. I thought that any one of you would take to me to the end and to be honest I felt like I had a good chance winning next to any of you. The reason I considered Danielle my #1 was that she was very open and honest with me the entire time we played. In this game, a lot of people like to hide their hands and try not to give away too much information on what their plans were. Danielle on the other hand had no problem talking to me about strategy and who we needed to evict (minus your eviction). I always felt comfortable talking to her about my game and what I felt needed to be done. Even though I trusted you and Roddy a great deal, there were times were I felt like I couldn't tell you something in fear of it reaching the ears of another player. My trust level for you was never at 100% and this might have just been because I wasn't able to catch you online as often as I would have liked. Since Danielle and I talked so often and comfortably I knew that I would want to take her to the f2 over you and Roddy as well as anyone else in this game.

Danielle: Alright well Kara the reason I evicted you, I know you and Roddy were tight with Shane. SO I knew if it came down to it, and I was up against him and us 4 were in the final 4 or 5, i'd be GONE, you have to think about these scenarios even though it's barely final 9 or whatever. So with that said I had to take the opportunities when I had them. And I did, yes Shane n I were tight, but winning power isn't everything, I got MYSELF here cause I made those evictions to level out the field for me and stay week by week, call me a weak player but it worked and I'm sorry it was you and I understand if I don't have your vote. Roddy: CONGRATS ON BEING THE FINAL 2 blah blah blah blah.... blah...I guess you both earned it?
Dani I remember talking to you at the beginning of the game and then you disappeared completely. When we lasted talked you promise me you would vote out Marcellas and you lied to me. Why did you lie to me?!I have barely talked to you... so why do you deserve to be in the final 2? Good lucks I guess.
Danielle: Alright Roddy like Kara if you go read my reply it explains alot, and yours just had to do with more I trusted Marcellas more at that point, cause I knew if it came down to it, you'd pick Shane over me. And plus you nominated me that worried me as far as my game. But nothing personal. And GL with voting.

Wil: Hey Final 2 It's finally the time to basically get things sorted out. Before i start going on and on about things i just want to say thank you to the Host and the housecalls for being awesome. Now let's get this started Shane
Honestly i have to say i give props to you cause i feel like you played a good game and unlike the other person sitting next to you,i feel like you had a better gameplay.But i do want to know a little bit more about you because there are some things that really make me curious.
1.Who was your original Final 3 ? (If you guys ever had one of course)
2.If you had to pick out one strategic move that you thought was the best,which one could it be and why ?

Let's be real for a second or maybe even longer.I do not know how or in what dimension you have gotten that far because let's face it,socially i didn't really see you that much.But i admire the fact that both you and Shane had your backs as he mentioned it in his speech. But i have to ask you one question.
1.Do you think your game was more stronger than Shane's ?
Danielle: Okay to answer you Wil, if you think by me not taking to just YOU isn't a good social game, then idk what to say, cause I did have MANY relationships in the house, I went unnommed till final 6? And if you think my game was more weak than Shanes just cause he had more "friends" or were more fake to them and played them more, than vote for him cause yes he deserves it. But I feel overall my game was accomplished to get me here, and that is pretty good. XOXO GL with voting Wil. Sorry we weren't closer than we could have been. Yes, I feel my game was much stronger than Shanes, cause time & time he would try to get info out of me, and I wouldn't tell him who I was close to or what not, he would tell me everything like his relationship with Kara and Roddy and how he could tell them what to do [so i took them out] So I feel I was always 1 up on him, and that shows I wanted to win, cause yes I had loyalty to Shane, but to myself and I wanted to win this more than having his back.

Shane: Heya Wil, Around the beginning of the game the final 3 I had actually been pulling for was myself, dani, and hardy. It didn't take long for me to figure out that those two were very close together. I was worried that if I did take both of them to the final three, they would choose each other over me. That was one of the big reasons I felt it was necessary for me to target Hardy. I needed to eliminate all close ties Danielle had, so I knew that she would be 100% to me. The ideal final 3 I was shooting for was myself, Danielle, and either Roddy or Kara. I had gained enough trust in the both of them, and I felt that they would take me over Danielle if they won Final HOH. Basically I wanted a final 3 where I wasn't pressured to win HOH.
Even though its been brought up in several threads, I would have to say splitting my votes in the Robert/Marcellas eviction was my best move. Most players would have taken their two votes and just used them to evict the person they wanted out. I wanted to make the most out of the power, and used the votes to put me in a good social position in the house. My main goal was to stay on good terms with everyone and manage each relationship well enough to where I wouldn't have to worry about hitting the block. I understand that Danielle had to fight to stay alive and I commend her for that. Although, I would have to commend myself more for staying out of danger in the first place. I don't think it would be fair to punish me for not being on the block, I think it deserves credit.
Natalie: Danielle, tell me the 3 key strategic moves/things you did that brought you to the end. I don't want to hear about challenge wins.
I'd like to know EVERYTHING that went down during the week that Ian got evicted. Who suggested what, what rumors were out there and who spread them, who were mentioned as the targets, how did the targets change, just everything from the start of that week til the moment Ian was evicted.
Danielle: Okay Natalie I had the most respect for you as a player, so idk how you say I was acting like a 5 year old when you attacked me first, that hurt me and I just defended myself, and the way I didn't was immature I'm sorry for that. I'm not that nasty vile player, but u got me first. So I would say the three key things that got me here were. 1. Getting along with the majority of everyone, I mean I did know I couldnt gv any1 a reason to easily nom me, I'm not that dumb. 2. Knowing who had tight bonds, where the power was, stay informed on that. 3. Make moves that benefited me, wether that was getting votes to evict someone who was tight with like 3ppl left in the game [threat later on if up against] Or make up lies, alot of ppl don't know but when I put you up with Marcellas and after the veto not used. I lied to Shane, yup, I told him that you were telling me the week b4, how bad you wanted him out, and that you said yes we need Kara out her an Shane are tight. He was upset, so yea that's how bad I needed you out. You were my and all of our biggest threat, tbh. Okay about Ian, I barely member what went down that week, cuz at that point I wasnt too much into it, since my goal early on was just stay nice, talk to who wins hoh, gv no reason for an hoh to nom u that early, simple. But I do know I was sad cuz Ian and I were close. And Shane n I talked about this like last week and he said he was bummed after and it was a mistake. That is all I recall, and I wanna follow up, by yes that comp was luck but I was close in the majority of em, yes just 1 person wins, but that shows I wasn't THAT dumb. I hope u don't hate me Natalie, and forgive the way I spoke to you on yr way out. You were a beast and threat have u be here right now an me jury. My vote might of went to you, just cause I respect a fighter and I may have not had to do that this season, but I respect you for it and that's me being realg

Wow, sooooo sad this is ending, but relieved to have met my GOAL, and that was final two, well to win, but lets face it some of this jury is bitter & Shane I'll give it to him, had more friends there. But hey you never know, I hope I win, I gave this my all, but @ this point it is over. Whatever happens happens.
I think right now I have a slight edge on the votes. In terms of questioning I think that I am doing a way better job then Danielle at answering them.
I'm very confident that I will have Karas and Roddys vote. I'm also very confident that Danielle will have Natalie and probably Roberts vote.
Hardy, Marcellas, and Wil can go both ways. Marcellas and Wil both seemed like they respected my game. Hardy seemed like he had a lot of time to cool of in jury so I might actually have a chance at gaining his vote too. Hopefully I can grab two of those votes to solidify my victory.
I would guess that the vote will be 4-3 or 5-2 in my favor.
